Oh, Victoria.
We waited endlessly for your arrival, and now you are gone.
It’s only been one week, but I miss you so.
There are so many questions to be answered!
Will you adjust to motherhood? You abhorred pregnancy so.
Will you become more patient and understanding with your beloved Albert as he struggles to find his place in your world?
Will you learn to love locomotives with the same passion as Albert?
Will Dash be jealous of or look out for baby Victoria, the Princess Royal?
Will Skerrett realize the error of her ways and go in search of Mr. Francatelli and his pastry?
Will you and your mother ever be at peace with one another?
Will you continue be protected from the bullets of your foes?
Will you ever install a lock on your bedchamber door, or at least require Lehzen to knock first?
Must I wait a year for your return?
On to the Brontes!
This post is part of the annual month-long Slice of Life writing challenge organized by Two Writing Teachers. Join us! It’s my first time slicing and apparently I’m an “Early Morning Slicer,” too!
I like how you set this up as a bunch of unanswered questions! It made me feel the need to know as well

I just finished The Crown and am craving another. After reading your slice, I immediately looked up Victoria. Alas, I can only get episode 8 at this time. Rest assured, I will continue to check out ways I can find the entire season. Not sure why these shows are so appealing, but I can’t seem to get enough of the Royal’s stories. Thanks for the tip!

I can’t wait to watch The Crown. We don’t have Netflix, so hopefully I can see it soon!

Love Victoria! We watched The Crown as well. I was disappointed it ended. Someone told me to check out Mary Queen of Scott’s, not sure which network.

Haven’t heard about a Mary, Queen of Scots program. Will have to look for it!

Thanks for piquing my curiosity. We watched Downton Abbey and The Crown and loved them. Now I’m off to check out the availability of Victoria.

Luckily, I was a week behind, so I watched the finale yesterday On Demand. Love it so much. That part with Francatelli killed me!

I only caught a few episodes of Victoria, but I really enjoyed it. I particularly hope they get that lock on their door!
