One Target’s “Trash” is This Writer’s Treasure! #SOLC18

Oh man! I just can’t come into Target without a chaperone. Once again, I needed just a couple of things and here I am with a fairly full cart.

Wait! What’s that? Are those notebooks on that Clearance end cap or just planners?

NO WAY! Moleskines? What are those doing on a clearance shelf? $2.97 for two? They look fine!

Wait. What’s wrong with these notebooks? Why are these here? Are they really on clearance, too? There’s no clearance price tag on this bundle of floral notebooks like the other items, so I better check. Maybe someone just put it down here. Where’s one of those price scanner thingys? Oh there’s one. $4.97 for three pretty notebooks? That’s crazy! Into the cart you go!

You’ve been warned, Target shoppers!

  1. I swear they pump something into the air at Target that makes you forget what you need and come home with 72 things you don’t…..but I’m not complaining. I relate. Those look awesome! Good haul!!

  2. I have more journals than I will ever use…but…if I find a new cool one or some that are that inexpensive, they are mine! Mark

  3. I would have elbowed you out of the way for those Moleskines! I have never seen journals on clearance on my Target–it’s always blankets and weird mugs and hairy pillows. I’d go nuts with notebooks. Of COURSE you had to buy them!!

  4. Oh my! Those are some unbelievable end-cap treasures if I have ever seen them! With 4 daughters in my house, Target is a frequent, sometimes multiple times a week destination. I’m tempted to see if my local store has such amazing deals. I’m in the market for a new journal myself. Here’s hoping!
