Can you keep a secret? #SOL18

Psst!

Hey you!

Yes, you!

Over here!

Can you keep a secret?

Podcasts!

What about ’em you ask?

They are the secret to cleaning or accomplishing some other undesirable task.

Just fire up your podcasts, binge listen, and before you know it, you are fully engrossed in said undesirable task. For me, this past weekend, it was cleaning out some rarely accessed kitchen cabinets. I didn’t want to do it. There were so many other things I’d rather be doing!

But it has also helped me clean out the kitchen junk drawer — you know the one, the back hall closet, and numerous other hotspots around my house I just didn’t want to deal with. What did I listen to? Each cleaning location I chose one podcast and binge listened. Favorites include:

What do you listen to and when?

  1. Thank you so much for this list! Podcasts are helping me to get through workouts. I have been listening to Cult of Pedagogy and Angela Watson’s podcasts. I can’t wait to check these out!

  3. Thank you for posting your list, Christie. I’ve not done much podcast listening… maybe I should. Makes me think of my mom listening to the radio when she did her weekly ironing … my dad wore dress shirts every day (dress shirt = starched white shirt with long sleeves). Some of her radio shows were talk, some were music.

  4. That’s a great list! I too enjoy podcasts. Check out The Planning Period podcast. And Jennifer Seravallo has a short podcast (lots of episodes, 5-10 minutes each). There isn’t much new content, but plenty of stuff to go through.
