Many thanks to the crew at Two Writing Teachers, and the extended SOL community, for giving us the time, space, and encouragement to live the writerly life here each Tuesday and every day in March. Won’t you join us? My #OLW for 2020 is CREATE. I’m looking forward to nudging myself to create new and different things this year. How about you?
So many wonders!

Very cleverly written! Some secrets a book holds will never be revealed.

What else could be found in a library book? I’m interested in things that more than one person touches, the secrets they hold. Thanks for writing this poem.

This sounds like my feelings when I see a student folding down a corner. Who would do such a thing?!? If only books could talk…oh what secrets they hold.

Your thoughts are probably thought by others so I am glad that you created this poem. Your OLW is actively working with you, Christie. Continue to create from the depths of your soul.

Thanks, Carol. And as I told my Teach Write accountability group last night, it actually began as prose, but argued back at me to be a poem!

Loved this poem! Thank you for sharing.
I also love your little blurp at the bottom. I so appreciate the platform to share together as teachers and writers!
You are inspiring today!

You build a lovely mystery in this poem and I feel inclined to find my own mystery so I can solve it. Beautifully rich way of cracking open a little clue.

Thanks, Betsy. Love it when a Slice jumps out at me when I am reading a book!
