I’m holding out hope that change is on the horizon. Are you?

Christie, I love this poem and the hope it reflects. True story: I was at a loss for a poem today, but then read yours and walked outside. It was as simple as that. Thanks for sharing this!

Oh yeah! I’m so glad, Tim. I do find that walking outside, no matter the weather or setting, lubes up the cogs in the wheel of the mind.

Christie, I can only agree. Hope is the only thing that can propel us day to day at the moment. I love that hope is “Change that knocks at the door.” Thanks for sharing this. Stay safe.

I am thinking about using “Hope is the thing with feathers” as our weekly poem next week. You have inspired me to write my own version, and also to invite my students to write theirs!

Yes, ma’am! Let’s get back to HOPE. Let’s celebrate positive behavior and language and policy. Let’s get rid of all the sickness.

Yay for change knocking. I hope it’s not just waiting, but insisting. And that reminds me that I have to help it, not just wait to see what “it” does. It’s what I do, too. Thanks, Christie!
