Another month of Slicing has come to an end. I remember thinking, “Do I have it in me?” This has been a challenging year for many reasons, and I just wasn’t sure I could do this. I’m so glad I pushed myself to be here, sharing everyday moments both personal and professional.
Thanks for wondering and wandering a bit with me today and every day this month. A huge thank you to the crew at Two Writing Teachers, and the extended SOL community, for giving us the time, space, and encouragement to live the writerly life here every day during March and each Tuesday throughout the year! Many thanks to all the Slicers who stopped to read and “like” or comment on my Slices. I have so enjoyed yours! Some of you I will see tomorrow for the launch of #NationalPoetryMonth and for the rest of you, I hope to see you next Tuesday. For now, be safe and be well.
All I really have to say in response to your post is “amen.” My sentiments align with yours.

I think we all pause and wonder “Do we have it in me?” during this monthlong challenge. We do – we have so many untold stories and ideas – and poems! – inside us. I celebrate that you are taking up the challenge of National Poetry Month… keep the momentum going!
