This is where you’ll find me today. Well…when I’m not shoveling!

Many thanks to the crew at Two Writing Teachers, and the extended SOL community, for giving us the time, space, and encouragement to live the writerly life here each Tuesday and every day in March. Won’t you join us?
So much more shoveling than planned! Beautiful picture. I’m trying hard to focus on the beauty and not the mess!

Christie, it’s hard to believe that snow day came this early in the year. Melanie Meehan just wrote that she is on Snow Day #2. Have fun creating winter memories with your children. Love that equation poem that will be a mentor text.

Yes – great day to write indeed. I love this equation poem!
Snow shoveling will happen sometime soon… maybe after I write a little more.

This is brilliant! I love writing recess! Wish I had a snow day to participate with you from afar.

Your poem inspired me to play around with some equation poems! Thank you for being my poetry mentor! Seeing the word “InkJoy” always makes me smile!

We’ll have to play with it more often.

The best equation…that’s what I did with my snow day, too!
